Process Optimization

Improve product quality. Make processes more efficient.

At the Pergande Group’s Process Technology Center (PTC), we work with our customers to analyze and optimize existing products and processes. Our goal is to further develop processes from both a technical and economic perspective and to sustainably improve their performance.

Reducing Energy Consumption and Operating Costs

By systematically analyzing relevant process parameters as well as material and energy flows, we can identify and evaluate potential savings. This allows us to develop targeted measures to reduce energy consumption and improve cost-effectiveness.

Increasing Efficiency and Throughput

Laboratory- and pilot-scale tests enable us to investigate process limits, identify bottlenecks, and uncover opportunities for optimization. Based on this, we can improve the throughput, capacity utilization, and overall efficiency of existing processes.

Improving Product Quality and Process Stability

In addition to economic efficiency, the focus is on product quality, reproducibility, and process stability. Through the targeted variation and evaluation of process parameters, stable operating windows can be developed and fluctuations reduced.

De-bottlenecking

Existing production processes are systematically examined for technical bottlenecks. Together with the customer, we develop solutions to relieve pressure on critical process steps and increase available plant capacity.

From Concept to Technical Implementation

Successful optimization approaches can be further validated on a pilot scale and—where appropriate—transferred to production facilities at Pergande or at the customer’s site. At the same time, our engineering team provides support for the technical evaluation, design, and implementation of the developed solutions.

One-Stop Process Optimization

By combining testing technology, analytics, process development, engineering, and in-house production, optimization measures can be handled end-to-end—from identifying potential to scaling up to industrial levels.
