Research & Development
PTC - Process Technology Center
Develop. Test. Implement on an industrial scale.
Features
Testing Methods and Analytics for Reliable Decisions.
The PTC—Process Technology Center—features laboratory and pilot-scale facilities for the development and optimization of process engineering procedures. The spectrum ranges from liquid formulation and grinding through granulation and drying to filtration and thermal treatment.
We investigate how your products behave under various process conditions and compare suitable process routes. The accompanying analytical testing makes changes in product properties measurable. This provides a solid foundation for process selection, the definition of operating parameters, and scale-up to industrial production.
Test methods and the scope of the analysis are tailored to your specific research questions—ranging from individual process steps to the analysis of successive process stages.
